Welcome to Lifelix. These Terms and Conditions govern your use of the Lifelix platform, including our website, mobile applications, and all related services. By accessing or using Lifelix, you agree to be bound by these terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the platform.
"Platform" refers to the Lifelix website, apps, and services. "User" means any individual who accesses or uses the Platform, including parents, guardians, children, and educators. "Content" refers to all materials available on the Platform, including lessons, missions, quizzes, videos, and illustrations. "Subscription" refers to a paid plan that grants access to premium features.
Lifelix is designed for children aged 6–14, used under the supervision of a parent or guardian. Users must be at least 18 years old to create an account. By creating an account, you confirm that you are a parent or legal guardian and consent to your child's use of the Platform.
To access certain features, you must register for an account. You agree to provide accurate information and keep your login credentials secure. You are responsible for all activity under your account. Lifelix reserves the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms.
Some features require a paid subscription. Prices are displayed on the Pricing page and may change with notice. Subscriptions auto-renew unless cancelled before the renewal date. Refunds are handled on a case-by-case basis in accordance with applicable consumer protection laws.
You agree not to: use the Platform for any unlawful purpose; attempt to gain unauthorised access to any part of the Platform; copy, distribute, or modify any Content without permission; upload harmful, offensive, or inappropriate material; or interfere with the Platform's operation or other users' experience.
All Content on the Platform — including text, graphics, logos, videos, and software — is owned by or licensed to Lifelix and is protected by copyright and intellectual property laws. You may not reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works from any Content without prior written consent.
Your privacy is important to us. Our collection and use of personal data is governed by our Privacy Policy. We comply with applicable data protection regulations, including GDPR and the Children's Online Privacy Protection Act (COPPA) where applicable. We do not sell personal data to third parties.
Lifelix is committed to creating a safe environment for children. The Platform contains no advertising, no external links to third-party sites, and no social or messaging features. All content is reviewed to ensure age-appropriateness.
The Platform is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. Lifelix shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Platform. Our total liability shall not exceed the amount you have paid for your subscription in the 12 months preceding the claim.
We may update these Terms from time to time. When we do, we will revise the 'Last updated' date at the top of this page. Continued use of the Platform after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated terms. We encourage you to review these Terms periodically.
These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes arising from these Terms or your use of the Platform shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
